Open Your Heart: A Backbending Workshop
Come ready and willing to open your heart in this two hour backbending workshop with Erin Sanders. Warm up your body with some flow, and dive into the work of using the power of your legs and the stability of your pelvic floor (Mula Bandha) to deepen your backbending practice. This experience is about showing up with an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to trust and learn! Opening the heart is both a physical and emotional act, and Erin will support you every step of the way.
6 months prior yoga experience recommended.
Saturday, August 18th, 2-4pm at Black Dog Yoga.
In this special two hour Yin workshop, we'll have extra time to explore the deeper, untouched corners within our bodies and our minds. We'll hold poses for an extended period of time to get past muscular engagement, which allows us to access and release our connective tissue. This practice helps increase flexibility, get long-held stagnant energy moving through the body, and offers space to explore your thoughts and/or find clarity of mind. Set to candlelight. Open To All Levels.
